TENER PRESENTE

Taxi y Transporte Público:

Es recomendable tomar solo taxis autorizados. El precio deberá ser negociado antes de ir al destino. Pedir Rebaja

En aeropuertos y terminales de bus, es recomendable contratar servicios de taxi autorizados por las municipalidades.

Comida y Bebida:

La comida peruana y variada (costa, sierra y selva). Pregunte antes sobre su preparación, ya que algunos platos son picantes y muy condimentados.

Para bebidas le recomendamos probar el pisco sour, la chicha de jora, chicha morada.

Energía Eléctrica:

En jauja se usa 220 voltios y 60 hertz (En la Provincia de jauja no hay servicio de energía de 110 voltios).

Salud:

Recomendamos consultar con su médico antes de viajar. Para evitar el soroche o mal de la altura, se recomienda contar con pastillas de coramina, alcohol medicinal  tomar mate de coca al llegar, evitar las comidas pesadas, llevar en la mano caramelos de limón y una botella de agua.

Se recomienda tomar medidas de protección frente a picaduras de mosquitos, para evitar, entre otras enfermedades la fiebre amarilla (vacunación preventiva – en caso de viajar a la selva debe administrarse 10 días antes de su viaje – en algunas zonas de la selva exigen la presentación de dicho certificado) y la malaria (repelentes y medicamentos).

Recomendamos beber solo agua embotellada, o previamente hervida.

Fotocopie sus documentos, cheque de viajeros, y cargue con estas copias en otra bolsa.

Estar alerta, especialmente en lugares donde hay muchas personas, es preferible no llevar objetos de valor.

Qué tipo de Ropa Llevar:

Sierra: Ropa ligera para el día, pero para la noche llevar chaquetas, y casacas. Si su visita es de entre octubre a abril, es recomendable llevar ropa térmica para posibles lluvias. Llevar repelente contra mosquitos.

Selva: Llevar ropa ligera, camisas manga larga, sombreros. Además se recomienda llevar consigo impermeable y repelente contra mosquitos

Sierra: light clothes for the day but for evening wear jackets and coats. If your visit is between October to April it is advisable to wear thermal clothing for possible rain. Bring mosquito repellent.
